DRILL CUP SERIES 2024 alias CRAZY LEAP YEAR

The last time to start setting up! A seriously crazy season is about to begin, which has not been seen before – there are many races and among them there are also a lot of long races (24h ride in the Siimusti quarry and 8 h at the Pirita velodrome). In addition, there are new organizers and four completely new endurance courses, to discover. We are looking forward to seeing all the cross teams this season, who has ever participated in endurance races. I know you, what the future holds! LET'S MAKE SUCH A WONDERFUL SEASON TOGETHER, LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW! 

We remind you for the new season, to read the technical terms and conditions - there are some changes. These are perhaps the most important changes:  

  • All riders must have the back number on their shirt. The number must be large enough, to make it so to the judge, but primarily visible from behind to the timekeeper. The number does not need to be printed, but can be placed on the shirt in another way (be creative, but the printed number is perhaps the easiest to read). 
  • The team registration fee is 50 EUR. Who registers the team on site or is late with registration, must pay 70 EUR. To register on time, it is enough to send a message to the organizer.
  • A very important change: one man can ride in as many teams as he wants. But it is important to pre-register for each team, i.e. the team lists must be locked before the start (you cannot move between teams at will during the competition).

In addition to endurance racers and team racers, SOLO DRIVERS in SPRINT COMPETITIONS and SOLO CHILDREN in MINIs can compete this season as well.

In brief, the rules and guidelines of the mini cup series: 

  • Everyone up to the age of 13 is welcome to ride (including) Motto friends and -huvilised, who has a competition tool to find a leg shaker or other two-wheeled machine up to 50cc suitable for growth. Participation is free!
  • The driving duration of the minis in each stage is 20 minutes. Mini races are held together with sprints belonging to the Punnvarri Cup series- and endurance races.
  • All participants will receive souvenirs and the first six places will also receive trophies.

THIS SEASON'S "STRAWBERRY" FOR SPECTATORS

The main organizer is planning to put a retro-class bouncy bar with one transponder and with safety equipment on the side of the track, with which everyone has the opportunity to go to the track and take part in the competition. You can go to the track and just drive 3 round (or so far, until the bulging balance holds) and then continue to enjoy the race from the side of the track. Before you sit in the saddle, the organizers present the safety rules on the spot, among other things, but you must register your name in the list of competitors. Take the opportunity! 

So it's high time to go to the garages and oil up all the rods and pistons and other gadgets, which hang from the trellis, start the machine, to enjoy the roar of the grill and the smell of gasoline and to think, that the summer without the grid rally and without the grid crowd would still be very boring!
